York has been approached by a fabric manufacturer, Fine Cotton Factory, about a collaborative research project using copper ion fabrics to understand and test various sleeping equipment, subjects and environments to have a more comprehensive understanding of reducing inflammation and/or obstructive sleep apnea using copper ion fabrics as bedsheets or pillow cases. They are seeking to build on their experience to date by working with researchers who can assist with test protocol development and evaluation of the results.
LEO Innovation Lab has built a number of digital health solutions to help patients living with chronic skin conditions and their various co-morbidities. Their focus includes telemedicine, disease prevention, medication adherence and compliance, digitial diagnostics, mental health and comorbidities. They are seeking partners to help pilot some of these solutions.
