Current Research

I work on human visual perception of objects and people, and on the perception of our own body in space and time. Making extensive use of virtual and augmented reality technology allows me to manipulate the perception-action loop, i.e., the relations between motor output and resulting sensory input that generate reality. I am particularly interested in how we perceive other people, and how we interact and communicate with them. In my lab, we are using 3D computer graphics and animation, computer vision, motion capture and eye tracking technology to build our experiments. Please visit my website.
