Biography

The Associate Dean (AD) Teaching Learning and Academic Programs, through collaboration with members of the Faculty of Health executive/leadership team, and engagement with the larger faculty and staff community, provides teaching-learning and academic leadership that enhances the impact and reputation of the Faculty of Health programs as innovators in teaching and learning within the University community and beyond. The areas of activity are in advancing teaching-learning excellence, fostering innovative curricula and programming, facilitating experiential learning through international and community partnerships, and consulting to support the impact of education.

Most activities focus on undergraduate curricular support and relate teaching and learning support in new programs, modifications of current programs, reviews, and other changes related to courses and other program offerings. These include major, and detailed or standard minor modifications, an interprofessional health program, updates to a course’s mode of delivery, etc., so a large range of planning activities. The role collaborates and coordinates on programs with all units and with individuals in administrative roles, to support a variety of initiatives and projects.
